TRAILERS

Trailers are one of the most powerful tools in gaming marketing, capable of igniting excitement and anticipation for an upcoming release. I’ve been fortunate to contribute to some of the industry’s most high-profile gameplay trailers, helping bring these cinematic moments to life.

During my time at Electronic Arts, I’ve worked as a Capture Artist on a wide range of trailers, from blockbuster titles like Battlefield 2042, Star Wars: Squadrons, Need for Speed: Unbound and Heat, and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, to more stylized and personal projects such as Lost in Random and Knockout City.

My role has varied across projects—sometimes providing creative oversight to ensure my team delivers excellence, and other times leading the project myself. For example, with the Battlefield 2042 – Circle of Hell trailer, I was responsible for the edit, handled all in-game capture and cinematics, and collaborated closely with brand partners and media directors from concept to completion. Regardless of my specific role, my passion remains the same: crafting compelling visual stories that resonate with players.

CINEMATICS

Cinematics are the purest form of storytelling in video games. Drawing upon experienced individuals skilled in cinematography, lighting, sound design, direction, editing, and the cultivation of other essential visual elements, Cinematics are meant to invest and immerse players in a game’s world. To achieve these creative endeavors, I’ve been working on cinematics both personally and professionally for the past decade, and assisting prestigious companies such as DICE and BioWare with their latest projects. Whether it be directing and coordinating upwards of 24 actors at once in-game, or working on the minor details of an animated sequence on my own in-engine, my tuned skill set is vast and ensures I am ready to tackle any challenge. I pride myself on my ability to choreograph and rehearse scenes until we get that perfect shot.

SCREENSHOTS

When I'm not busy creating trailers or working on cinematics, I like to take a moment and practice my hand in still-media in some of my favorite games. They all vary in purpose. Some are used to showcase environments, characters, and other aspects of a game, while others are meant to tell a story. The bulk of my screenshots have been taken in-game in titles that I’ve mentioned prior, inside Unreal Engine 4, or even using Frostbite. They utilize exercised composition, custom built lighting, purposefully posed animations, and a wide-array of post-editing touch-ups to enchance to final product.
